The HewSaw automated Log-In infeed system models the log and feeds it to the Cant Saw in the most optimal sawing position. The Cant Saw chips four open faces and saws one board per each side. The Separator Conveyor control drops the sideboards to the transfer table, centers and feeds the cant in to the Ripsaw which curve saws the cant and edges the sideboards. The sawing line also saws special profiles such as round poles.
