Laser and matrix camera scanning of the log. The log is 3D modelled by length, width, ovality, curve and any defects.

Based on the measuring result, the log rotator turns the log into optimal sawing position.

The Cant Saw chips four open faces and either saws two unedged sideboards or saws and edges one sideboard per each side.

The Separator Conveyor control drops the sideboards to the transfer table.

Ripsaw machine curve saws the cant and edges up to four optimised sideboards.
